CompTech, a leading program management and technical services company, is seeking a Cloud IT Support Specialist to support mission-critical cloud and infrastructure environments for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). Role Summary:
Provide advanced IT support across cloud and infrastructure systems, ensuring high availability, security, and compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards (RMF, NIST, FedRAMP). You’ll troubleshoot complex issues, support users, and collaborate with engineering and cybersecurity teams to maintain secure, reliable systems.
Location: Remote (USA)
Contract Type: Full-time
Salary: $75,000 – $85,000/year + benefits & 401(k) match
Clearance Required: Active Top Secret Security Clearance
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve technical incidents and service requests
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and cloud systems
- Monitor system performance and conduct root cause analysis
- Maintain documentation, knowledge bases, and training materials
- Perform system backup, recovery, and continuity operations
- Support compliance with DoD cybersecurity frameworks (RMF, NIST)
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve systems and workflows
- Develop technical documentation and deliver user training
Requirement:
- 6+ years of IT experience (including DoD IT environments)
- Hands-on experience in cloud and infrastructure support
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills
- Experience with system installation, diagnostics, and user training
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance (mandatory)
Certifications (Required – combination of 3):
- One IAT-II certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CySA+)
- One Google Cloud certification
- One AWS, Azure, Oracle, or Red Hat certification
